Right next to Amsterdam-Amstel station stands the imposing Amstel Tower, a 103-metre-high 30-storey residential and hotel tower. The bottom seven floors house the MEININGER Hotel, a 3-star hotel with 186 rooms. Above the hotel are 192 rental flats from Vesteda.

Construction was a technical feat: the lower floors were constructed traditionally, while the residential section grew one floor per week using tunnel formwork. An underground Q-Park parking garage with 171 spaces was built next to the tower, with a bus station on the roof.

Combining comfort, sustainability and urban dynamism, the Amstel Tower is a landmark within Amsterdam's ring road.
