Steel slatted balustrades

Steel slatted balustrades come in in many different dimensions and designs. In this example, a handrail, top rail and bottom rail have been applied using tubular profile 60x20mm with an infill of tubular profile 40x10mm, where also for every section some slats have been inserted through the top rail to the handrail.

Balusterless steel slatted balustrades

Balusterless steel slatted balustrade is very similar as the aforementioned slatted balustrade, but rather than using balusters to affix them, special strip profiles which match the exterior are used at the base to create a sturdy construction.

Vertical bar balustrades

Vertical bar balustrades, as the name suggests, feature a vertical bar infill. The bars are constructed with round steel rods, most commonly with a 12mm diameter, though custom dimensions are also available.

Paneled balustrades

The example image demonstrates a glass panel balustrade in which the class is encased in an aluminum top and bottom rail. The aluminum bars and glass panel are placed between balusters, which is then mounted directly on the base.

Glass panels

A glass railing is a full glass balustrade consisting of an aluminum profile which can be mounted on or against the ground, for which only glass is clamped. This clamp system is used for fully glass panels or balusterless glass designs.

Juliet balconies

The image provides an example of a Juliet balcony. The balustrades for this type of balcony are usually mounted inside the window frame. However, if so desired and the structure allows it, they can also be mounted directly onto the masonry (drilled directly or with special masonry brackets) or up against the window frame.

Privacy screens

Privacy screens are used to seperate balconies of individual residential units. The screens are constructed using an aluminium framework with glass panel infills. They are often fitted with frosted glass in order to achieve privacy between neighbours.

Parapet railings

A parapet railing is a railing that creates the demarcation of a balcony, gallery or roof terrace by means of a post or baluster on or against the parapet.

Banisters and wall-mounted handrailings

Wall-mounted handrails are commonly used in stairwells, for which the handrails are mounted against the wall. The wall-mounted handrail shown here consists of a round tube, most commonly with a 48mm diameter, as this is a comfortable and ergonomic size for our hands.

Half-turn stairs

Steel half-turn stairs are also amongst the products we offer at Trahecon. Various types of staircases and bespoke solutions are available. The stringers can be made using strip, tube or U-profiles…

Spiral stairs

Spiral stairs are also part of our catalogue. As the name implies, these stairs revolve around a centre spindle. The spindle is made from a steel tube, around which steel steps are mounted.
